“No matter how long we have walked with the Lord, or how many mountains God has allowed us to climb, or how old we are, Peter warns us that we, too, can fall … I find that discernment is woefully lacking in today’s churches. People seem to swallow almost anything if it has the name of God attached to it … Christians must be taught and must exercise their use of the Word in daily decisions.”
As the author draws out in the course of this book, Peter gives generous teaching in his second epistle on discerning truth from error. If you need to learn basic principles of how to apply the truth of God’s Word to your everyday life, then this book is for you!
