From Darkness Into Light focuses on the testimony of the author, Monthir Abdullatif. The events in the book tell about his life in Iraq.
He was raised in the Islamic faith. He faithfully performed his religious duties hoping to reach the Living God. However, all of his efforts had no value or meaning to him.
He then read about Jesus Christ in the book of Islam (Quran). There he found Jesus Christ, the Holy One, and through the Holy Spirit was lead to the Divine Truth.
Since his personal encounter with the Lord, he no longer lives in darkness but in the true light of life … Jesus Christ, the Saviour.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Monthir Abdullatif was born in Iraq in 1947. While in Iraq, he converted from Islam to Christianity and is now an Independent Baptist missionary.
The Lord called him into the ministry to reach Muslims for Christ in the USA. His work is centered in the Greater Detroit area, which has the largest population of Muslims outside the Middle East.
His soul-winning outreach consists of TV, radio, publications, tape and prison ministries. He also holds seminars throughout the US to educate Americans about Islam. God has blessed with many Muslims turning to Christ, the true Light of the world.
