This is a comprehensive study of each verse of Proverbs.
Desiring to leave a legacy of Scripture studies for his children, Dr. Dan Reed ended and published several incomplete versions of this book due to his failing health. But each time, by God’s grace, he took up his pen again and eventually finished this work after some 27 years of sacrifice, ministry, study, and service.
Although the reader could read the commentary on a verse or two every day as part of a daily devotion time, it is intended as more of a resource for personal study or sermon preparation. Throughout the pages, there are ample quotes from great men of faith who wrote their own commentaries, making this an excellent compilation of thoughts from which to glean enlightening spiritual truths and to “whet your appetite for learning Scripture.”
