This book will help you to realign your focus to what is truly important in this life and to identify the hindrances to your prayer life so that it can grow.

“The great people of the earth today are the people who pray. I do not mean those who talk about prayer, nor those who say they believe in prayer, nor yet those who can explain about prayer; but I mean these people who take time and pray. They have not time. It must be taken from something else. This something else is important, very important, and pressing, but still less important and less pressing than prayer. There are people that put prayer first, and group the other items in life’s schedule around and after prayer.” ~S.D. Gordon

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Samuel Dickey Gordon (1859-1936) was a prolific author on many spiritual topics, including prayer. His spiritual insight and constant, uncompromising application of the Word of God were what aided him in producing some 25 books in his lifetime, most in a series of “Quiet Talks.” Although he did not receive a traditional religious education, he was often asked to preach. According to E.W. Kenyon, S.D. Gordon “represents that rare but vanishing class of spiritually minded men of the last generation.”
